waiting in the PRISM

This piece is a personal favourite for the atmosphere I managed to capture and the process of creation. PRISM is an exercise in landscape creation and balancing a bright and expansive colour palette with an ominous and dreamlike tone, assisted by the mysterious person floating on the water.

The size of the piece made balancing the scale of the environment and figure a challenge to surpass, which was solved by the value contrast created by the figure's dress - in itself some fashion design practice.

This piece encourages viewers to imagine the setting, circumstances, and persona of all illustrated, encapsulating my philosophy of storytelling and engagement in my design process.
