As part of typographic developments in my degree, we were tasked to design a layout for a design publication and its corresponding material, having full control over the layout aesthetic, publication name, logotype creation and typeface design.

Named for its focus on multiple mediums, the VISUA publication concept utilised a focus on minimalism and use of white space + sparse colour. Both covers exemplify this approach by illustrating elements from reality in a stylised way, and is continued through the articles by using supplied photos to dictate page hierarchy.
